Thanks for dropping into my website today.
I hope you find what you're looking for. I know there is a lot of new stained glass and leaded light work here but don't forget I carry out lots of repair work too! Lead came has a life of about 100 years so I am regularly remaking Victorian and Edwardian front door panels.
You will usually know when they need repairing! You will see cracks across the solder joints, they will rattle when you tap them and in extreme cases there will be glass dropping out or bowing. I reuse all the original glass, just replace the lead. We can either board or glaze your windows while we carry out the work.
Apart from the usual repair work going throughout the studios, I have some lovely new projects to make this year. Later in the summer, when the glass has arrived, (it's being specially made in America) I will be making two more Magnolia panels, like these
Another lovely project I will be making is a very free design and for this I will employ all kinds of techniques, sandblasting, silver staining, plating and enamelling to get the right finish. This is for a house in Warwickshire and will be a feature window over 2 metres tall.
There are a few places left on my Autumn and Winter courses and new dates for 2016 will be out in September.
I hope to hear from you
