January was a very busy month here. I have completed
4 new projects and these will be fitted in February.
Two great courses, a fusion and a stained glass
day. My students, new and regulars, are having
lots of fun creating with glass and I'm so happy
to be able to pass on my skills and love of the
medium. There are only a couple of places left
until the autumn but I am adding students to my
waiting list for the autumn, so do drop me a line
if you fancy a go!
I am so lucky that my workshop is on a hill.
There has been a lot of local flooding but not
here, so all classes and projects are going ahead
as planned at the moment.
I'm currently working on a series of windows
for an Arts and Crafts style house that is being
built in Surrey. There are 15 panels in the first
phase and I'm using some beautiful hand made glasses
, including some from The English Antique Glass
Company. For the second phase I will be making
the internal door panels and again the glass is
handmade and that really taps into the Arts and
Crafts ethos of handmade.
Thanks for popping in and I hope you get in touch!
