Welcome to winter in The Surrey Hills! It may
well be chilly and wet out there but rest assured,
students and clients, it's cosy and warm in my
workshop. I have the kiln on nearly every day
and we do have heating out here you know!
This year I'm taking part in Christmas Open Studios
but not here in Abinger Hammer. (too muddy and
difficult to park) I'm exhibiting work and glassy
gifts which you can buy at Aileens house in Redhill.
This is a great opportunity to do a bit of Christmas
shopping as Aileens silver work is for sale and
also woodwork and paintings. I will not be there
everyday so if you need to chat to me about a
project phone me first.
here for more details
I am gradually catching up with my design back
log and am pleased to say I have just been given
the go-ahead on a few projects for 2014.
Last month I fitted my set of patchwork panels
for a house in North London. I am so pleased with
the way they turned out. These panels contain
such a rich mixture of glasses and are a real
pleasure to make.
I have just put a few new dates of glass courses
on my courses pages and these take us up to mid
May 2014. I will not be releasing any new dates
now until January/February 2014 so if you're looking
for a Christmas present of a glass course, these
dates will be for you!
I look forward to hearing from you
