Summer is almost over,
August has been a wet and weary month really. But I celebrate autumn which this year seems to be blessed with such plenty.
The autumn fruiting raspberries are overloaded as are the hedgerows here in The Surrey Hills. This is a sloe gin year me thinks!
I have lots on, as usual, including this lovely panel for a private house in Forest Green, Surrey. Depicting The Surrey Hills and featuring briar rose, seed heads (very autumnal) and a ripe field of rye, I cannot wait to see the finished panel in place.
I am making a window which include two african elephants next and a stylish arts and Crafts style window too.
I have another Surrey hills landscape to design too so even if its pouring with rain outside, I will keep the colours coming.
New course dates are online now too. For early 2016. Next dates will be out in October in time for Christmas.
Thanks for popping in.
