Copper Foiled Hanging Stained Glass of Peacocks, 1989

This is a very intricate window inspired by a William Morris fabric pattern.

I painstakingly foiled each tiny piece of glass with copper foil before soldering them all together. The mouths of the peacocks have been acid etched from flashed blue glass and the eyes and scrolls of natural plant forms are painted and fired in the kiln.
