Portraits of People or Pets

A beautiful hand painted stained glass roundel.

Norman, our stained glass painter, has over 50 years experience in traditional painting skills. As you can see he is a very talented artist. There are few stained glass painters in this country as good as Norman and we love to keep him busy!

Portrait roundels are 225mm (8.8 in) diameter and the central painted piece is 180mm (7 in ) diameter. You can choose the colour of your border. Just send us a good close up, in focus, photo from which Norman can work. Within 3 weeks you can hang your traditional stained glass roundel in your home. A gift to treasure for ever. We can also paint an inscription if you like with names and dates.

Each roundel is £145.00 delivered. Just contact me, Amanda, to discuss your requirements.

This is a lovely painted roundel of a pet dog. Norman has painted her really beautifully as pale coloured animals are really hard to portray in glass. Each little hair is painted and fired in and then another matte painted over and picked out with a needle to indicate the white hair. This is a Christmas present and has gone up to Scotland.
