A Bit about Amazing Norman!
Norman has been painting on glass for an amazing
59 years. He has an incredible pedigree having
started his stained glass career at William Morris
and Co Great Peter Street, Westminster, London
at the age of 16. There he learnt how to paint
and draw. He worked there for five years before
his two years in the RAF for National Service.
After that he went back to William Morris for
just a year before they closed down.
He then worked freelance until in the late 1990's
Norman joined Goddard and Gibbs Studios. It is
my luck that he works as a freelance stained glass
painter and creates the most beautiful and fine
work.
I find lots of opportunity to keep Norman busy
in his little painting studio in Essex!
